Free seminar aims to help vacation travelers stay safe.

Whether you are traveling across the state or out of the country before you travel this summer, join us for a free seminar on Thursday evening, and learn how to stay safe during your travels.
On Thursday, May 23rd, Crime Prevention Specialists from the Fortuna, Eureka, and Arcata Police Departments, and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office will present some tips for travelers to help keep them safe during their journey.
The presentations will focus on tips to keep your home safe while you are away; to how to stay safe during your travels, knowing what is trending at your estination, and how to deal with serious emergencies.
The free presentation will be held at the Fortuna Volunteer Fire Department on May 23rd from 6:30 – 8:30pm.
