The Home Based Business Expo is to help expose some of Fortuna's 170+ home based businesses. Hosted by the Fortuna Business Improvement District.

Open from 3pm till closing every Tuesday starting the first Tuesday in June and ending the last Tuesday in October.

Art and Wine in the Park
Art and Wine in the Park is a perfect start to summer in the heart of Fortuna atRohner Park. The event features hundreds of wines to taste from local and regional vintners and a fine arts area and crafts market to browse and shop.
Date: First Sunday in June

Daffodil Festival
Springtime in Humboldt County means daffodils. The Fortuna Garden Club's 33rd Annual Daffodil Show features more than 600 stems of the sunny flowers on display. This is one of three major daffodil shows in the state, drawing amateur growers and propagators from California and Oregon.
Date: Fourth Weekend in March

Fortuna Fireworks Festival
Celebrate Independence Day a little early in Friendly Fortuna with some Family Fun, a BBQ, Music and Fireworks from 5:30 to 10:30 pm on July 3, in Newburg Park.

Fortuna Rodeo
Enjoy a week of activities: chili cookoff, firemen’s games, parade, and carnival.  Friday night features quad races.  Saturday Cowboy Mixer & Dance.  Rodeo on Saturday & Sunday.  Best BBQ in the west on Sunday.  Traditional family fun!

Redwood AutoXpo
Antique cars and hot rods, antique tractors, and farm equipment are all highlights of the 
Redwood AutoXpo. Don't miss the cruise in Fortuna Friday night, followed by a sock-hop. Stay all weekend and catch the burnout contest Sunday afternoon.

Hops in Humboldt
Beer! More than 25 microbreweries converge in Rohner Park for beer tasting at the Hops in Humboldt event. The charity event also features an eclectic music line-up, a crafts area, beer games, and a people's choice award.
Date: Fourth Saturday in August

911 Remembrance Ceremony
Sponsored by the Fortuna Volunteer Fire Dept. along with the City of Fortuna and its Police Dept. The ceremony remembers the servicemen, the passengers of the high-jacked planes and the occupants of the Twin Towers.

Every September 11th at Noon in front of the Veteran's Hall

Apple Harvest Festival
Enjoy the fruits of the fall harvest all over town at our different venues:

Grave Matters & Untimely Departures

Electric Lighted Parade & Downtown Open House
Bundle up and watch the parade of lighted trucks, floats and other vehicles decked out in festive lights go from Redwood Village Shopping Center to downtown.  Join the downtown merchants for refreshments and entertainment.  Enjoy the strolling musicians and stop by and see Mr. and Mrs. Claus!!
