NOTICE
Notifying the Public of Rights Under Title VI

City of Fortuna Transit operates its programs and services without regard to race, color or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes he or she has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with Fortuna Transit.

A complainant may file a complaint directly with Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with:

Title VI Non-Discrimination Policy Statement
The City of Fortuna Transit program is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination in the receipt of its services or programs on the basis of race, color or national origin or other characteristics protected by law, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. Further, under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, no entity shall discriminate against an individual with a physical or mental disability in connection with the provision of transportation service.
