Bus PhotoThe City of Fortuna offers transportation within the City limits to people 50 years of age and older or persons with a disability.  The Fortuna Transit makes medical trips to Eureka on Tuesdays for appointments between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. funded by Measure E.  We look forward to serving you!  If you need service outside of Fortuna city limits or if you don't qualify for our service please check out Humboldt Transit Authority website for more information.

EligibilityYou must be 50 years or older or a person with a disability (any age). If under the age of 50, a doctor’s note may be required.

Hours of OperationMonday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Two buses operate

How it Works
It is a reservation and dispatcher-based system, which means you call dispatchers to schedule the times you need the bus.

Call (707) 725-7625 for questions, fares, or to schedule reservations and return trips. This dispatch number is available Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 a.m. The dispatch office is not open on weekends.

FeesCash fare is $2.50 per one-way trip, or you may purchase a punch card for $22.50, which is good for 15 trips making the cost equal to only $1.50 per one-way trip.
