young people, introducing them to a new sport or a new program. Because we want all children to have the positive experience our programs offer, the City of Fortuna Parks & Recreation offers scholarships for families who cannot afford the full amount of the registration fee. 

Please complete scholarship application and submit with copies of the paperwork required. Applications without all requirements attached will not be considered for scholarship funding.

The scholarships are partial, it does not cover the full cost of the program. The scholarship amount awarded is $150 off the total of 4 weeks or more of attendance. The parent is responsible for the remaining amount of fees due.
