Annual Community Events

Due to COVID-19 and these unprecedented times, many of Fortuna's annual community events have been delayed or cancelled. While the 3rd of July brought the unexpected thrill of fireworks for people to enjoy from their cars or homes, there are many  time honored Fortuna events that will not be able to take place this year.  The loss of these events not only creates an acute feeling of sadness, but also the awareness that the COVID-10 pandemic is real and that as a community we need to continue to practice all of the important guidleines set out by the State of California and the Center for Disease Control.  Fortuna appreciates the continued support of bussiness by local patrons and supporters.  The City supports ongoing efforts by essential busineses and suppliers and will continue to work togther to support the community during these difficult times. If we work togther, we can look forward to a bright future where we can all participate and support our beloved community events. We really are in this togther!!
